City & Guilds Level 4 (NVQ) Diploma in Construction Site Supervision
he Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Supervision is aimed at learners working for a principal contractor.
The vast majority of the qualification can be delivered on site through discussion and observation with supplementary assignments, meaning you won't need to spend hours away from the workplace in a classroom.
Your assessor will support you throughout the qualification helping you to gain the confidence to carry out your supervisory responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

Eligible candidates should be working as a site supervisor or assistant site manager in building and civil engineering, highways maintenance and repair, residential development, conservation or demolition.
Before registering for this course we recommend an informal discussion with one of our assessors to ensure that you can meet the course criteria.
The course is comprised of 10 units covering topics relating to:
- Introduction and health and safety
- Leadership and management
- Communication and customer care
- Planning, programming and logistics
- Resource management (cost, cash and risk)
- Assessment workshop.
When working on regulation sites Site Supervisors will be required to hold the CSCS Gold Cards. This qualification represents the ideal route to gaining the card, allowing you access to work on bigger sites with larger organisations. Any ideal stepping stone for any Site Supervisors looking to progress their career.
