PAUL JONES | MANAGING DIRECTOR

Paul is the founder and Managing Director of Alpha Safety Training Ltd. As a qualified Safety Consultant, Paul created Alpha back in the summer of 2009. Paul is ambitious by nature and as such is the driving force behind the organisation. Paul is absolutely passionate about the quality of service we provided.

Paul has set an ethos whereby the entire team is treated like family. This works well as some literally are... Paul's wife, sister and mother all have roles within the company making Alpha a true family business. 

When Paul isn't wholey focused on the business he enjoys watching sport, especially football, and the occasional recreational round of golf.


ANDREW COLLINS | HEAD OF OPERATIONS

Andrew graduated university in 2008 with an honors degree in Accounting & Finance. He holds a wealth of experience in many sectors, from Manufacturing to the Financial Services. Andrew joined Alpha with 5 years experience in the training sector, primarily in a Business Development Role. From there he developed the organisation's management and operational systems, processes and procedures which led to his appointment as Head of Operations in 2015.

As a Senior Manager, alongside Paul, he is responsible for the day-to-day running and strategy of the business as well as marketing and HR. 

When his mind is not on work Andrew enjoys flying light aircraft, walking his dog and watching any sport he can find on TV. 


MICHELLE JONES | OFFICE MANAGER

Michelle joined Alpha in the Summer of 2014 and quickly established herself as a key member of the Customer Services Team. Michelle was appointed Office Manager a year later and has become an integral to the company's growth. Michelle is responsible for ensuring the clockwork running of Alpha's Customer Services and Accounts Team with customer satisfaction her number one priority.

Outside of work Michelle enjoys time in the gym, trips to the cinema and listening to music. 


STEFFAN ROGERS | BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Steffan is a very motivated, enthusiastic and professional individual who is passionate about meeting different people and developing positive relationships. Steffan engages in many networking sessions and hospitality events which allows a great opportunity to meet individuals and form good working partnerships.

Steffan's strengths come from a strong background in client engagement and helping businesses’ to up-skill their staff. Steffan has impressed both new and existing clients since day 1, taking every opportunity to put these experiences to good use. Outside the training industry Steffan has built excellent supporting knowledge, holding roles with various private, public and third sector organisations in roles involving tutoring & mentoring, business development, recruitment and customer services.

Steff is and avid sportsman, playing football in his spare time whilst "attempting" to develop his own personal fitness!


CHRIS ARMSTRONG |  TRAINING MANAGER

Chris Armstrong

Chris joined the team in 2014 after serving in the British Army for 11 years. Chris accessed funding to gain a host of     NEBOSH Qualifications and is now working towards gaining Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH). In the last 12 months Chris has been integral in designing our consultancy model whilst delivering training progarmmes including SMSTS and IOSH Managing Safely. 

Chris was promoted to Training Manager in 2016 to oversee the day-to-day runnig of the department. 

In his spare time Chris enjoys pushing his body to the limit. Recently he has completed Ironman Wales twice and regularly sets off to run distances most people wouldn't even want to drive!


MARC WILLIAMS | CONTRACTS MANAGER

Marc has extensive experience of working in the training industry. Since joining he has won several high profile tenders with large organistions in both the public and private sectors. Marc is also responsible for the company's vast array of accreditations; corresponding with new awarding bodies to allow Alpha's syllabus of accredited courses to expand year-on-year. Marc has excellent knowledge of Health and Safety, holding various qualifications including NEBOSH Certificates (distinction) and is currently working towards his Diploma.

Outside the office Marc is very keen on personal fitness and regularly attends the gym, crossfit and martial arts training. He is also passionate about live music and attends gigs whenever he can.
