Alpha Safety Training are an established provider of training solutions based in South Wales. We offer a wide variety of programmes that cater to a range of industries, including occupational work essentials such as First Aid, through to construction specific courses such as Confined Space or Forklift operator. We have purpose-built, state of the art facilities in Swansea and Cardiff, that include dedicated construction academies. We specialise in offering accredited training courses via various different awarding bodies such as IOSH, CITB and City & Guilds (to name a few).
We pride ourselves on our warm welcome, outstanding training facilities and our excellent customer service. We run regular open programmes for our most popular service offering consistently at our Centres. Or equally, we are able to support your specific needs in the form of dedicated courses for your business at either one of our centres or your workplace. And although based in South Wales, we regularly deliver training throughout the UK, through the form of classroom, remote or e-Learning sessions.
Founded in the summer of 2009 by the Managing Director Paul Jones, in ten years Alpha has grown from a two-person enterprise to employing more than 20 people across its sites. Originally delivering basic compliance courses such as Fiirst Aid, Alpha has expanded its portfolio and now offer a variety of professional development programmes.
Due to demand, in early 2017 Alpha opened its first dedicated Construction Academy in Swansea. Here we support the construction sector through a range of mandatory skills such as PASMA, and NPORS courses, MEWPS courses (accredited by IPAF) and Forklift/ Logistics training (via RTITB). Later in 2017, we opened a second dedicated academy in Cardiff to provide additional support to our clients across the M4 corridor. Leading into 2021, we developed our City & Guilds approved Confined Space Training units, expanding further on our service range to the construction industry.
Alpha Safety Training are proudly recognised as a CITB Approved Training Organisation, supporting our CITB registered clients in their CITB grant & funding requirements. Furthermore, we are an approved CITB Internet Test Centre, enabling us to offer the CITB HS+E Test at both of our Swansea & Cardiff Centres. The CITB HS+E test provides a pivotal role in the construction industry, allowing us to support our valued clients obtain their relevant CSCS cards.

The Management team is lead by the Managing Director Paul Jones who has grown and developed internal and external staff to include General Manager Danial Ahern, Quality & Compliance Manager David Puntan and Accounts & Office Manager Gemma Ward.
