Course Details
This one day course will cover all the necessary practical skills and theoretical knowledge to help ensure that the students perform their duties effectively and with great care. There are no prerequisites to enrol on this course, but please be aware that there are several physical tasks that will take place throughout the course. A pre-course questionnaire will be handed to all students.

The Manual Handling of People is an important task in any care related business. If done incorrectly, service users and staff are at a high risk of injury or even death. For this reason, moving and positioning of people training is a high priority for managers and external regulators.
